So what tools do you think are necessary in your kitchen? In my kitchen, the obvious are important, you know the cutlery, and utensils. However, the tools that are necessary for me in my kitchen are my Kitchen-Aid and all of its attachments, my microplane and my scale.
I love my mixer because I am a baker and it comes in real handy when I am making cakes, frosting and all the goodies that I like to make. My microplane because I love to zest lemons, and oranges when I am making pecan sticky buns and other sweet confections.
The scale comes in handy when I have to adjust recipes up or down. Recipes that are scaled by weight are more easily adapted and more accurate than the cups and teaspoons. Weight verses Volume and I will take weight every time.
